Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas

I will be making a conscious effort to wish everyone
a Merry Christmas this year ...

My way of saying that I am celebrating
the birth Of Jesus Christ.

So, I am asking my email buddies,
if you agree with me,
to please do the same.

Maybe we can prevent one more
American tradition from being lost in the sea of
"Political Correctness".

  1. Rose: You're wrong-it's snowing now as the rain has changed to snow. However, only 2 to four inches is expected if you can believe the forecasters. This after a record high of 69 degrees on Thursday. Time for the golf clubs to go back to the cellar. However, from the looks of things I may be playing sooner than Tiger Woods.
Hope all is well with you.
Have a MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY HEALTHY NEW YEAR.

P.S. Nice job on the candy cane and snowman.

  3. Funny thing, most everyone, even non-Christians love the Christmas Season. Then why does it look like the politically -correct 'folks' are winning the battle. Great entry! love the snowman and Rudolf. You did good!
Love from NC, hoping to be in Florida next week, LOL

  4. When I was working at Sears, right around the time when a lot of business were not allowing their employees to say Merry Christmas, I made a point of saying "Merry Christmas and Happy Hollidays" to everyone. I could not believe the amount of poeple were happy to hear the term Merry Christmas They thanked me greatly and felt free to say it back. It was really really nice. I also made a point of having that old fashion hard Christmas Candy to hand out to all at my register. They loved the memeories that it brought back. It started many a conversation in the lines at the register and tempered many a temper. Amnazing .....

  6. I can't believe that it is even hard to fined Christmas cards that say "Merry Christmas" Enough of this Happy Holidays stuff in order to be politically correct.

  7. I always say "Merry Christmas" and it doesn't bother me if someone wishes me something from their particular religion or beliefs in return. People worry too much about being PC.
