Is that multi-tasking?

Aren't you glad you are out of the law office rat race?

Now you can do whatever you WANT to do! (smile) One thing I liked to do was get the worst jobs out of the way.
I dealt with Attorneys so much in the building industry, I can sympathize with what you are saying, I cannot count the times the attorney has said, "Kathy would you retype this and drop this or that." And that was back when no mistakes or white out were allowed and it was actually on the type writer. I remember the last few times with the aid of the computer contracts could be changed in a couple minutes. What a blessing.

When I was a supervisor it always bugged me tooo much, to see someone operating a computer and reading a mag, or trying to keypunch and talk on a phone.

And NOW on the road, seeing a guy or gal pass me at 70-75 mph holding the phone on top of the steering wheel texting thinking they are watching the road and texting without distraction, scares the daylights out of me.

As always very good stuff. I bet you were a 'WHIZ BANG' in an office, and a pride for a boss.jack69https://www.blogger.com/profile/12884137603402812926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4901847648242872428.post-78117252426611912402014-09-01T22:07:38.407-04:002014-09-01T22:07:38.407-04:00I hear you. But these days, now that I'm older I tend to give my undivided attention to the things I do.TARYTERREhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14620999913159718018noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4901847648242872428.post-24356950292819948782014-09-01T19:30:19.419-04:002014-09-01T19:30:19.419-04:00Such a wonderful entry!! Still I was the only one in the office and had 3 bosses. Sometimes 4 or 5 as their wives also came in with work for me to do for them. I had to prioritize what needed done daily. I did answer phones but couldn't do the computer work at the same time. I may have tried it a few times but you are right about it not working. I like you will read when I have the TV on. But only because I can't stand the long commercials. I read when they are on and then stop when the program resumes. I'm mostly known as 'MA'https://www.blogger.com/profile/12107548726472541669noreply@blogger.com
